David H. Fry

David H. Fry, age 79, of Reedsburg, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. He was born on December 29, 1944, in Sandusky, Sauk Co., WI, the son of Wayne and Esther (Powell) Fry. On July 18, 1964, he was united in marriage to Nancy Klingenmeyer. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Timothy and Todd.

Dave was a 1963 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Dave was a friendly and outgoing person; always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His fun sense of humor left people smiling. Dave loved tinkering on cars and anything with a motor. He often ventured out on his Honda Goldwing and in his 1977 Monte Carlo. Dave was a fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his camper on the Wisconsin River. Eating out was an anticipated event; he was especially fond of area supper clubs. Dave was a Packer fan and enjoyed traveling to  several NASCAR races.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy on August 6, 2018; and son, Todd on October 9, 2020.

Dave is survived by his son, Timothy (Darcy) Fry of Reedsburg; granddaughters, Olivia and Josie Fry of Reedsburg; sister-in-law, Sherrie Fry of Briggsville; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for David Fry will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Michael Lopp officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place on Friday at 3:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery, North Freedom. Memorials of remembrance may be made to Oak Park Place in Baraboo.
